Muhammad Shoaib Baig, Chief Human Resource Officer, is leaving his position to pursue other interests outside the company. His last working day is going to be on 29th August 2014.
Shoaib Baig started working in Telenor Pakistan on the 1st of February 2011 as CHRO. During his employment period in Telenor Pakistan, he has been remarkable in laying out the HR strategy in the company and has introduced effective people policies which have helped in the company’s progress. HCD is a key division which has the responsibility of the most valuable asset of the company i.e. the employees, and Shoaib has been exceptional in leading a dynamic team and guaranteeing that the company is right on track regarding its people strategy.
“Shoaib has been successfully driving the HR division in the company. We are grateful to him for his valuable service and strategic insight over the years. With his strategic focus and acumen he was able to bring a lot of insight into our key HR projects.” said Michael Foley, Chief Executive Officer. “I wish him all the best going forward!”
Shoaib Baig expressed his feelings: “It has been a pleasure working for Telenor Pakistan. I have had a chance to work with some very talented and hardworking people here. I am leaving behind a very dynamic and passionate team who will no doubt carry on the great work that human resource has been doing. I also want to take this opportunity to thank my team members and colleagues for their great support and take this opportunity to wish Telenor Pakistan all the success in future.”
The process for hiring a new CHRO has already started.
