Marble export plummets

Marble expo¬rts during the first half (July-Dec) of this fiscal year dropp¬ed by 24.73 per cent to $28 million as compared to $37.2m in the corresponding period last year.

All Pakistan Marble Min¬ing Processing Industry and Exporters Association Chair¬man Sanaullah Khan credited the decline to slower demand for semi-finished marble from China.
