On his visit to China, Prime minister has visited headquarter of Foton Motors, Chinese Auto giant in Beijing. He was accompanied by Shah Faisal, Chairman JW SEZ Group, Foton’s partner in Pakistan also; Javed Afridi CEO of Haier and Ruba Pakistan joined PM during his visit.
The briefing was given to PM regarding how modern technology is being adopted in the manufacturing of automobiles by the company.
It was also informed by Gong Yueqiong, Chairman Foton that company has set up an assembly plant in the country as a joint venture.
Shah Faisal told that electric vehicles and hydrogen-powered buses made by Auto giant will be on roads in Pakistan.

Since 2003, Master motor Corporation (Pvt.) Limited is manufacturing, selling and providing after sales of Foton branded vehicles.
This joint venture will also bring in a huge investment in Pakistan with a setup of state of the art manufacturing plant at National Industrial Park near Port Qasim Karachi.
Complete range of vehicles will be introduced that include Passenger vehicles, Tunland, Toana, View CS2, and Sauvana. Also Light and Heavy Commercial vehicles like Aumark S, Aumark C, Aumark TX, Auman EST, Auman DUMPER and Foton buses.
