Ghandhara Nissan Limited (GHNL) is planning to launch Renault’s heavy commercial vehicle to meet the growing needs of the local market and also to imprint its revival in the market.

The stock filling by a company has declared that it has signed an agreement with Renault, France’s renowned car manufacturer for the import of SAS, heavy commercial vehicles in Pakistan.

GHNL will not be assembling them in Pakistan rather the completely built-up units of vehicles will be imported.

In order to assess the demand and viability of such commercial vehicles, the company imported few units of Renault Trucks for trail and testing.

The growth of development in infrastructure and energy makes the demand of trucks very high. But once Ghandhara Nissan limited ascertained the demand of trucks it should start assembly of vehicles instead of imports.

Due to a large number of players allowed to set up their plants in Pakistan the assembly of vehicles has become a very viable option.

GHNL according to its plan being submitted to Engineering development board and board of Investment, will launch Nissan Datsun Go cars.
