Mr. Nauman Ansari has been appointed as the Chief executive Officer, CEO of Alfalah bank for another three years. Nine people were also elected as directors of the bank for three years. They are, H.H. Shekish Nahayan Mubarak Al Nahyan, Mr. Abdulla Naseer Hawaileel Al Mansoori, Mr. Abdulla Khalil Al Mutawa, Mr. Khalid Mana Saeed Al Otaiba, Mr. Efstratios Georgias Arapoglou, Mr. Shehzad Naqvi, Dr. Ayesha Khan, Dr. Ayesha Khan, Mr. Gyorgy Tama Ladics, Mr. Nauman Ansari.
In July 2017, Mr. Nauman Ansari joined as President and CEO of Alfalah bank. In his 24 years of professional career, he has served in various renowned institutions like Standard chartered bank, Bank of America, ABN Amro, Fortis Bank and Samba.
His career started from Standard chartered in 1993 and then three years in Bank of America.
With the network of 600 branches in more than 200 cities, Bank Alfalah is the fifth largest private bank in Pakistan.
After the clearance from regulatory authorities in Pakistan and Afghanistan, Bank Alfalah Limited (BAFL) will sell off its businesses and operation in Afghanistan to Azizi bank.
Abu Dhabi Group owns and operates the bank. World Bank’s international finance corporation has partnered with the bank in 2014 and holds 15% of stake in Alfalah bank.
