Saeed Ahmad President of NBP indicted by court for corruption

In the corruption reference filed against former state minister Ishaq Dar, accountability court of Pakistan has indicted President of NBP Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Mehmood and Syed Mansoor Raza Rizvi on Tuesday.

The three were named as accused after National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a reference on the directions of Supreme Court of Pakistan in Panama Paper case Against Ishaq Dar. The three accused have denied their involvement in any corruption charges involving Dar.

Mohammad Bashir, the judge has also called prosecution witnesses on April 11. The defense council misconduct abstained court from pressing any charges against Dar and co-accused.

Javed Akbar shah the president of Islamabad High Court Bar Association misbehaved with Justice Bashir during the hearing. He is representing Accused Rizvi in this case, director of Dar’s Hajveri Modaraba. Also, a show-cause notice was issued against Javed Akbar and also non-bailable arrest warrants of Mansoor Raza Rizvi were issued.
