A latest Google update makes traveling and determining routes much easier. You can now book an Uber through Google maps without shifting from one app to another. Uber has partnered with Google for integration while different taxi services in different countries will be a part of Google Maps integration as well like 99Taxis in Brazil, Ola Cabs in India, Hailo in UK and Spain, MyTaxi in Germany and Spain and Gett in UK.
Google’s blog posted that the service will be globally launching for Uber and it will take some time to roll-out on Google devices but will soon reach Pakistan too since Uber has been launched in Lahore. Google’s favoritism for Uber is because of Google Ventures’ recent investment in Uber.
Google Maps is something that we run by now, we can’t step out of our homes without activating Google Maps, followed by the amazing on-call pocket friendly Uber taxi services. So Uber and Google Maps are life savers. This minor integration of Uber in Google Maps will be of greater benefits in the future after more services being added into it in the future.
You will be able to search for location on the map, and the map will open a dedicated tab with all available ride services. You will be able to book a ride from top right taxi cab icon, no need to have Uber installed.
