The launch of Pakistani dramas on Netflix is a great move that will surely get a lot of popularity to the brand. Momina Durraid just wrote on Facebook about Netflix California which launched the first ever Pakistani drama serials. These include Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzar Hay, and Sadqay Tumharay to give the Pakistani digital industry a big achievement. She even congratulated the teams of these serials and now these Pakistani drams on Netflix shall be available to all.
Humsafar is a family drama serial with a touch of romance directed by Sarmad Khoosat. It is based on Farhat Ishtiaq’s same-name novel. It has been HUM TV’s most famous serial that aired from 24th September, 2011 to 3rd March, 2012.
Zindagi Gulzar Hai is yet another popular romance touched drama by HUM TV directed by Sultana Siddiqui and produced by Momina Duraid of Moomal Productions. It is popular for its strong female voice in the lead role. It aired from 30th November, 2012 to May, 2013.
Sadqay Tumharay is also from HUM which portrays bio-geographical romance that is a true story of the writer Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar. It opened in 2014 with a fully hit 6.0 rating to get the best drama serial in 2015 too.
