Indian Films Ban Lifted in Pakistan with the Screening of “Kaabil”

KaabilThe Indian films ban is lifted on Bollywood movies in Karachi on Wednesday as “Kaabil” starring Hrithik Roshan was screened in Atrium Cinemas.
Superstar Hrithik Roshan also tweeted that he hoped Kaabil would receive the same love by the audience in Pakistan as it did in India.
The movie will also be playing at Nueplex Cinema. Kaabil was produced by Rakesh Roshan and was released in India on January 25. It is a love story of a blind couple.
Furthermore, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and the information ministry have cleared Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil for screening in Pakistan on Wednesday. The movie was issued an NOC a while back and was submitted to the censor boards three months after being amidst the political unrest between India and Pakistan. The censor boards of Lahore and Karachi have not issued an NOC yet.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a romantic drama featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
