The New Titanic is undoubtedly the world’s most awaited cruise ship ever. The ever anticipated, fascinated New Titanic is finally here! It has long aspired people to relive those magical moments from the most popular movie ever. The New Titanic project is revived by the Australian billionaire Clive Palmer who shall be giving us a fully loaded functioning replica of the same in 2018.
This is however, two years later than their official launching plan.
The ship as said shall be identical to its former in all aspects be it luxury, style or anything you name it! The ship is like a memento to the one that sank on its debutant voyage in April 1912 after being hit by an iceberg.
CNN reports that of course the New Titanic shall be having more modern satellite controls, evacuation procedures, radar systems, digital navigations and all those things expected of a ship launched in this era. This has been affirmatively confirmed by Palmer’s company Blue Star Line’s James McDonald.
The New Titanic shall be 13 feet wider than its original however its length (885 ft), weight (40,000 tonnes) and height (174ft) shall be same with the same nine decks on it according to Belfast Telegraph.
The New Titanic or Titanic II shall therefore also be having first class, second class and third class tickets with nine floors and 840 cabins to accommodate 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members on board. The ship shall also be having gymnasiums, a swimming pool as well as Turkish baths.
The Titanic had sunk in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15th April 1912 after it was hit by an iceberg while it was going from South Hampton to New York. The ship was under the commandment of Captain Edward Smith when about 1,500 souls out of a total of 2,224 souls died on the ship.
