queens young leaders award

The Queens young leaders award for the year 2017 has been grabbed by none other than a Pakistani student. Social entrepreneur Syed Faizan Hussain has made the nation proud by formulating solutions for the country’s health crisis.

The reason behind

Faizan has just won the award because he has developed many startups for health. One of these is the Edu-Aid which translates sign language into spoken language. One Health is another name for a disease surveillance app and tracking system. It notifies health institutions about outbreaks related to health. Moreover, Faizan is also a voluntary teacher at the Saylani Welfare Trust. This is a trust that has mentored more than 200 students from underprivileged backgrounds. It does this by teaching them computer programming.

Currently developing a technology consultant and outsourcing program named Venture Dart. This is Faizan’s attempt at small businesses and firms to grow better. He has gained the award because the Queen’s program identifies such exceptional individuals across the Commonwealth. The winners also get trained, mentored, and networked in a one-week residential program in UK. They also then receive their award from Her Majesty The Queen here.
