Sri Lanka has finally approved officially that their team will arrive in Pakistan later in September to play 3ODIs and 3 T20Is. This has now cleared all the uncertainties regarding match.
According to the details, the Test series will now be played in December. Sri Lanka is expected to land in Pakistan on 25th September and the tour will start with 1st ODI in Karachi on 27th September.
All the ODIs will be hosted at National Stadium, Karachi, whereas Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore will host the 3 matches of the shortest format.

Following the completion of the limited-overs series, the Sri Lankan team will fly back on 10th October.
Earlier, there were reports that Sri Lanka would play two Tests in Pakistan whereas the limited-overs series will take place in the UAE, however, the SLC has announced that it will instead visit Pakistan for the limited-overs series.
