Master Motors limited have been awarded Greenfield status by Ministry of Industries and Production. Eight companies all together have secured the Greenfield status so far.
As per the guidelines of Auto Policy 2016-2022, category -A greenfield investment status has been awarded to Master Motors by concerned ministry.
Under automotive development policy of 2016-21, two companies have been given brownfield status.
With the growth in the automobile sector, the large-scale manufacturing will increase significantly. Pakistan enjoys the perk of being automotive intensive industry and occupies a key position among automobile producing countries.
The automobile sector has always managed to keep its pace of growth according to the demand from the market and simultaneously the investor also find the auto sector of Pakistan a very lucrative as well as emerging one.
Master motors have signed an agreement with Chinese automobile company Chongqing Changan Automobile limited and the Greenfield status granted to a company would now enable the venture to enter the growing automobile sector of Pakistan.
Known for its SUVs, compact vehicles and sedans, Changan is the popular automobile maker of China. Its Famous series include, CS series SUV, Raeton series, Eado series and Alsvin series also it has other products including Oushang, honor and Eulove MPV.
