The vespa scooter has been a classic since more than 70 years now. According to its maker Piaggio, 18 million vespas have sold till date. It has become an iconic model. However, the company has now planned to release a new electric vespa scooter as their only model.
Exterior
Called the Vespa Elettrica it will be just like the classic vespa when it comes to its looks. However, the electric vespa scooter will have a blue outline on it while it will still look seventy year old. The Milan Bike Show will also have its preview on the weekend.
Interior
When you come to its interior, the exact specifications haven’t been known. Piaggio says that the pleasure drive, ease, style, and agility will all be the same. It will also have some connectivity solutions in it. We expect that this might be a connectivity solution for connecting your smartphone to it.
The new electric vespa scooter will come in mid 2017. The classic vespa starts from 3,000 Euros to 5,500 Euros in Italy. This means from 400,000 to 625,000 PKR. Thus, we know that the electric vespa scooter will be a little higher than 5,500 Euros for the electric capabilities.
