The Pak Suzuki Motors Company is all set and ready for the Suzuki second manufacturing plant in Pakistan. The $460 million setup shall be completed in 2 years once all formalities are completed.
Thus, the Suzuki second manufacturing plant in Pakistan will start operating in 2018’s end. Hirofumi Nagao is the MD of Pak Suzuki Motors. He called the finance minister Ishaq Dar in a meeting on Thursday to confirm the news. The company’s future investment plan was also discussed here.
The directives
The MD has been asked by Ishaq Dar to submit a complete plan with details. This will ensure that all requests are completed in accordance with the devised rules, laws, and formalities. It will also ensure that a level field is provided to all prospective investors of the field from the government. The meeting has senior officials of the Finance Ministry and members of Pak Suzuki’s delegation too.
Ishaq Dar also added that Jetro has mentioned Pakistan as the 2nd best place for investment in the world. He adds that it is all due to economic and political stability, improved energy and security, etc.
