The Suzuki Wagon R price in Pakistan has increased from this month for the VXL and the VXR variant. Both of these shall see a price increase of Rs 20,000 from now on.
Thus, the new Suzuki Wagon R VXR costs Rs 1,029,000 while VXL costs Rs 1,069,000. There are no new features added to any of them as the Suzuki Wagon R price in Pakistan is increased. Maybe because compared to its fluctuating start, it has gained popularity now. A customer now has waits 50-80 days when ordering it besides slightly used ones which are evident in the market. However, this is not the first price increase from Suzuki.
It was just last April that Suzuki increased the prices of all its autos by Rs15000. Some increases were between the ranges of Rs 20,000 to Rs 100,000 by August 2016 as well. Suzuki Mehran is soon going to phase out in 2018 as it is replaced by the 660cc Suzuki Alto now. Moreover, Pak Suzuki has also replaced Suzuki Cultus to introduce the new 1,000cc Celerio by March 2018.
The cause for the prices increase is unclear. Industry analysts count the Yen’s rise against the Pakistani currency for the Japanese automaker’s increase. It means the cost of components could have increased for the company that gave them lesser profit margins.
