Black Panther Secured Third place in Box Office

US box office has once again been hit by the top-grossing title of all times and this time, Ryan Cooglers’s Black Panther has taken on James Cameron’s famous 1997 titanic. This makes Black Panther the third top grossing in history.

Black Panther standing at no. three features all-black cast and is behind Star Wars: the force awakens at $936.7 million and Avatar at $760.5 million. It had the total of $659.3 million as on Friday according to the Hollywood. Titanic was at $659.9 million when released in late 1997. Ranking at No.10 of all time it has grossed $1.29 billion globally. Chadwick Boseman a superhero of Disney and Marvel starred as T’Challa. Others part of this cast were Lupita Nyong’o, Micheal B. Jordon, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kalyyua, Letita Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis.

The story is about a black power and pride of black beside superhero characteristics. T’challa was sworn in as king of Wakanda, a technologically advanced Africa and home to ‘vibranium’ an exotic metal also a source of power for Black Panther.
