The latest finding of, World’s most admired people have been brought to the surface by YouGov, a market research company that has conducted this study. The prominent personalities of the world are ranked according to the opinions of 37000 people from across 35 countries.
Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft and actress Angelina Jolie have secured the top positions as the world’s most admired people. Few Pakistani’s including Malala Yousafzai and Imran Khan have also made it to the global ranking. Although the list contains celebrities but Barrack Obama and Putin, political figures were also part of the list.
The interview of 37000 people had the following two questions; interviewee admires the person in question and the second one was if the interviewee admires person the most.
The research company has also found the admiration on the country level. In Pakistan, Tariq Jameel, Bilquis Edhi, Raheel Sharif, Imran Khan, Aafia Siddiqui, Malala Yousafzai are the most admired by Pakistani’s.

Tariq Jamil – 17.60% admiration score, Raheel Sharif – 13.70% admiration, Imran Khan – 12.80% admiration, Bill Gates – 7.70% admiration, Pervez Musharraf – 5.10% admiration, Shahid Afridi – 4.20% admiration, Aamir Khan – 3.80% admiration, Recep Tayyip Erdogan – 3.40% admiration, Justin Trudeau – 3.10% admiration and Nawaz Sharif – 2.60% admiration score.
Women (Mostly admired by Pakistani’s)
Bilquis Edhi – 22.10% admiration score, Aafia Siddiqui – 10.80% admiration, Angelina Jolie – 6.70% admiration, Farhat Hashmi – 5.60% admiration, Muniba Mazari – 4.90% admiration, Malala Yousafzai – 4.00% admiration, Hillary Clinton – 3.50% admiration, Queen Elizabeth II – 3.30% admiration, Mahira Khan – 3.30% admiration and Maryam Nawaz – 3.20% admiration score.
